Our story regarding Shopify SEO Services started about 12 years ago, when we set up our very own children's clothing online shop, selling sustainable children's Scandi brands under the name Scandi Mini. We knew pretty much nothing about SEO then, and really not much else about what it takes to set up a shop, run a website, set up a smooth distribution and warehouse, how to do social media and much more. We had the drive, the passion and somehow managed to learn, conquer and move on, and gathered all this knowledge which I now find invaluable. For 10 years we ran our online store in Shopify, before we decided to move back to Scandinavia, and here we are, offering what we have learnt, to you, instead. 

What is SEO for Shopify?

SEO is an abbreviation for Search Engine Optimisation, and is, in short, a way for Google to find out what your website is about. Google then uses this information to pull out the most important information, like, what you offer, what products you sell, where you are based and how they are rated. The thing is, as intelligent as Google may be, you still have to help it - via SEO - to pull out the best information, so your customers can find you.

If you don't do SEO, chances are that your website will get lost amongst all the millions of other shops out there. The competition is HIGH, and furthermore, big businesses pay huge sums for ads, so they can appear on the first page of Google. Search accounts for up to 80% of all Website Traffic, so it's a hugely important tool to get visitors to your shop.
